Ksenia I. Plakhova, MD, DSc, is Acting Head of the Sexually Transmitted Infections Department and Academic Secretary at State research center of dermatovenereology and cosmetology Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation. She is also a Professor at the Dermatovenereology Department of Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education and practices clinical work as a dermatologist-venereologist of the highest qualification category. Her institutional responsibilities include research and clinical work in sex-ually transmitted and urogenital infections.
